Scottsdale Vacation

We went to visit Grandpa and Louise for Grandpa's 80th birthday and Mother's day a couple weeks ago and now we are finally getting the pictures up! We had a beautiful trip and of course Landon loved the planes but thankfully slept though the majority of the flying time. We had such a great time seeing the family and Mommy got to see her Mommy for Mother's Day!

We bought Landon some big boy underpants and are now on the road to a diaper-less future! He has used the toilet twice now for poopin' but we have a ways to go yet.

Check-Up Time!

We went to see the Doc yesterday for Landon's 18 month check-up and everything is looking great! He got his MMR vaccine which made him pretty emotional for the rest of the day. It feels like he is growing by the minute:

Height: 34 in (90 percentile)

Head Circumference: 20.3 in (100 percentile)

Weight: 27.5 pounds (71.5 percentile)

Mommy also gave Landon a haircut and his is looking more and more like a boy and less like Mommy's little baby everyday...

The Most Wonderful Thing About Toddlers...

Is that it is so unbelievably hard to stay mad at them, because they are too cute! First this is when Landon pushed the chair to the computer desk in order to climb to the bar to get to the fruit bowl. It was too quite for Mommy and Daddy and this is what we found 2 bananas and about a pear and a half later...

And for those of you doing spring cleaning and need to hire a chimney sweeper, we have one of those too...

We are definitely in the "explore your surroundings" stage!! Each day Landon is learning more and more and it amazes us just how fast he catches on to new things. He is mimicking more words and their sounds. It won't be too long before we have a talker on our hands!!

It's been way too long!!!

Sorry:( We have been going like the wind around here the past few weeks. Where did we leave off...

Well, we had a wonderful Christmas in Seattle with GiGi and Gpa (pictures).

Mommy and GiGi did a little mommy pampering while Daddy and Gpa took Landon to the Museum of Flight. And we just had an overall fabulous time.

We never really did get any snow this year so the last post is all Landon really got. Remember last year when we had 5 feet with a new born? Mother Nature did things a little back words for us.

Landon had his first ear infection last week, poor baby boy...

Fell asleep watching Aladdin.

After his ear was better we started our play-dates at the daycare, that's right! Mommy is going back to work and starting a new career as an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks Monday February 15th!! So, we have been weaning Landon into the daycare setting, which we think that he is going to love. He just jumps right in and starts playing, so cute.

This past weekend we did a "family moon" to Leavenworth and joined two families together when Grandma Mary got married. We had so much fun and Landon got to play with a little more snow there!

And this was last night in the tub, he loves when we blow bubbles for him...
