Happy Pumpkin Fest!!

On Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch and picked our pumpkins. We also got apples for pie. Yesterday we carved our pumpkins and of course had to get some pictures of Landon in his cute pumpkin stuff!! He is getting so big! While at the patch we saw a year old boy playing in the pumpkins, gettin' dirty and havin' a ball. That will be Landon next year...this year he slept in the carrier on Mom's chest the whole time and didn't even know he was there.

Landon was the Judge and gave Daddy 1st place for scariest pumpkin and Mommy 1st place for cutest pumpkin...

Here are a few more pictures from the hospital. This was the morning of the C-section after being up all night with contractions...we look great! The pictures with Landon are when he was just minutes old and Daddy is taking him from the OR to the Nursery to get his testing done and get cleaned up. At this point Mommy is still in the OR getting put back together. What a lovely thought!

Pics of Landon's first week at home

Here are some great photos of Landon's first week at home. There are a few family shots that we did out in front of the beautiful fall changing leaves. One of Daddy's favorite is where Landon looks like a grumpy garden gnome...you'll know which one that is when you get to it! One of Mommy's favorite is where he is sunning in the bouncer chair. Dr. Keblawi (great name for a pediatrician!) said to set him up in the sun to get rid of the jaundice. It worked and is all gone now.

We had our first outting today! We went to both our work places to show off our beautiful bundle of joy. Landon's first purchace was at the Clinique counter at Nordstrom for Mommy's make-up... I'm sure I will be thanked for that later!

We still have one more camera to get pictures from Landon at the hospital and some from a "Brother's" night that we had last week. We'll get them posted soon!

So, Landon LOVES the water! We like to take him in the shower and when he gets out, he has a nice warm towel waiting for him...

Landon is 8 days old!!

We welcomed baby Landon James Marlow in to the world on October 1st!! Yesterday we had his 1 week check-up, other than being a little jaundice, everything was perfect. He has already grown almost 2 inches. We are happy to say that he is already on a great routine and is a sleeper too! He is a very happy baby, except when he gets those gas bubbles. And boy is he BEAUTIFUL!!

As for Mom and Dad, we are doing great. People ask how we like being parents...well, nothing compares to it! We can't even begin to put into words how we feel, we are so in love with our son. Healing from a C-Section has been going pretty well. We make a great team so that really helps.

Sorry for the delay on getting pictures uploaded...we have pretty much been home bodies gauking over Landon, go figure, huh? We are putting the pics together, a combo of hospial and first week, to get on here... so they will be up soon!
