Scottsdale Vacation

We went to visit Grandpa and Louise for Grandpa's 80th birthday and Mother's day a couple weeks ago and now we are finally getting the pictures up! We had a beautiful trip and of course Landon loved the planes but thankfully slept though the majority of the flying time. We had such a great time seeing the family and Mommy got to see her Mommy for Mother's Day!

Just Playin' on a Sunday Afternoon

On Sunday we went out to Hayden Lake for a birthday party for Stephen, Landon's second cousin, who turned three. And we got a couple good pictures of how big Landon is getting. He saw this toy and loved it...
Looking at his Daddy...

Camping at the Moyie River

For Landon's first 4th of July we did our annual camping trip to the Moyie River. We had so much fun and Landon did so well!
Happy 4th of July...
While everyone went rafting Mommy and Landon stayed behind and went down to the river to go for a swim, the water was pretty chilly be it was really fun!
A little boy on a BIG adventure...
We camped for 4 days and had a blast. Landon missed his first fireworks show he went to sleep at 7:30 and we didn't want to wake a sleeping baby. Maybe next year. It was a nice relaxing, get out of town trip.
More Moyie River pictures.

Happy Memorial Day

This weekend we went up to our friend's, Bryan and Emily, in St. Maries Idaho. They have a beautiful lot of 12 acres that backs right up to state land so there are miles and miles of trials and hiking. We had tons of fun hiking around, making smores over the bonfire, and just hanging out. On Saturday we went down to the River, the St. Joe, and we had Bryan's and Uncle Dave's bass boats and all piled on to them. Daddy went with Bryan and their puppy Gage and on Uncle Dave's boat we had Auntie Alicia, Mommy, Emily, Landon, and Dodger (Alicia and Dave's puppy) so to say the least we had a full house. But Daddy had the camera on the other boat so we got some cute pictures of Landon's first boating trip but they are on Emily's camera so we will have to wait to get those to post them. But Landon did touch his first fish, which was really funny, and Dodger liked when it was snack time for Landon and we got out the Cheerios! These are just a couple other pics that were cute of the little boy in his
camping sweats...
Hope that you enjoyed the weekend!

Priest Lake Weekend

This past weekend we ventured to Priest Lake for a friend's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful, the wedding and the weather! We went up early on Saturday so we could get all settled in and hike around before the ceremony.
There were a few trails that lead right out of where our cabin was. We went on one that took us down by the lake and then up into some pretty wooded areas. Down by the lake with the self timer, Landon is in a Kelty Kids Pack, Daddy wore it all afternoon and said that it was awesome! Here we go...

Later at the ceremony...
Landon gives wedding crasher a new meaning!
Then on Sunday we went Morel mushroom hunting! At first we were in the totally wrong area for finding them but we hiked around a place called Hannah Flats and Mommy took macro shots of some things that we saw. We hiked a couple other places and then we found mushroom haven! We picked about 27 mushrooms and after we got home we cleaned them and sauteed them!
Here are some other random pictures from the weekend!
Oh and on another note, Landon's snot is turning back to clear and the nebulizer has only worked a little for his congestion to we are most likely ruling out asthma, but we will talk to the doctor on Thursday.

Here we go a hiking

Daddy got off work early yesterday and it felt like summer (83 degrees, holy smokes!) so we went for a family walk. We were using the stroller because it was a new trail that we'd never been to before and we didn't know the terrain. We didn't get far but it was still fun. We are going to go back soon with the baby hiking backpack because it was a really cool trail. There were a few birds, we did have the bird book, we saw a gardener snake and some other things. High up the trail there are a bunch of Indian rock paintings, we saw one and want to go see all the rest.
