Comando Lando

So, Daddy has been teaching/showing Landon the idea of how big boys go potty (yes, we are already getting him used to the idea, in our minds it is never too soon!!). Well, after dinner the other night, we got him undressed and said it was bath time. Well Landon knows where to go, so he went running into the bathroom and Mommy came in two seconds later to find him standing in front of the toilet peeing!! Yes!! Right on the floor in front of the toilet!! Wish we got this on film! What do you do when you see that he has the right idea but is way too short for it to matter? Well, we just put him in the tub but told him that he has to tell Mommy and Daddy when he has to go potty and he can be a big boy too. Just a cute little ditty for you...

Play-Date!!

We had a play date with Weston and Martina last night. The boys are starting to get how to play together now. It is so cute to watch them run around. After a messy dinner they took a bath, which was pretty cute...
"Look Landon, your mommy is taking a picture!"
"I know, she is like the paparazzi! You just have to look away!"
"Here Weston, would you like a net for your fish?"

Trick or Treat

Yes, it is a week late but Landon and Hailey were both recovering from being sick last week so they had to miss out. They got to do their Trick or Treating last night...
The most wonderful thing about Tiggers is I'm the only one!

Toddler Takeoff

We have begun a whole new chapter! Landon is officially in the toddler stage. He is talking, playing, running and newly developed the backwards walk. Yesterday, as Mommy was folding the last pair of socks Landon took one and started walking backwards with it dangling it in front of Mommy with a little grin that said, "Ha, Ha you can't get it!" and as Mommy got up to get it, he turned, started cracking up and ran away! He is learning new things and understanding more and more. Like when he knows he did something bad and you say "Landon?" he points to what it is that he knows he wasn't supposed to be in and says, "This." in the cutest most innocent voice you ever heard. It is really hard to scold him when he is so cute! Also, as of yesterday we have upgraded from the high chair to a booster chair at the table, to say the least he loves sitting with Mommy and Daddy right at the table. Here he is eating some breakfast...

The 1st Hair Cut

It is official, Landon has had his first "real" haircut!! We went this morning and had it done and he was a very good recipient.
Getting Started...

The first cut (excuse Mommy's appearance as it was not known that this was a dual thing and we were cleaning all morning!!) but Mommy's face is classic! Nervous much?!
"I'm so over this!!"

Finishing up...
And voilĂ ...

Happy 40th Anniversary to Sesame Street!!

Mommy and Daddy watched it and so does Landon. He is giving Elmo a big kiss for his 40 hard working years on the job!

Landon's Moves!

That's right our 1 year old is a dancin' fool! Gee, I wonder if that has to do with the fact that Mommy and Daddy danced right up to the time Landon was born? Here is a little sample of some of Landon's fine dancing...(sorry about the shaky camera Mommy was dancing too!)

Pickin' Pumpkins

Yesterday we ventured over to Grandpa Jeff and Grandma Debbie's home-made especially for Landon and Hailey pumpkin patch. Since Landon was only a couple weeks old at the patch last year he didn't get to pick out his pumpkin. This year he was very excited about this task...

"DeDe (Hailey in Landon language) I was carried the whole time last year, let me down."

"This is the one!"

"I guess this is more my size..."

Cute Cousins!
